Terms of sale

General Terms and Conditions of Sale (CGV)

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) govern sales made by QUIVER SAS via the website slicy-products.fr. Placing an order implies full and unreserved acceptance of these GTCS.

1. Products

The products offered are frame protections, mudguards, accessories, and custom kits for bicycles, mostly designed and manufactured in France and Europe by QUIVER SAS under the brand name SLICY. The essential characteristics of each product are described on the corresponding product page.

2. Prices

Prices are indicated in euros, inclusive of all taxes (TTC) for the European market, and exclusive of tax (HT) everywhere else, excluding processing and shipping fees. QUIVER SAS reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. Products are invoiced at the price in effect at the time of order validation.

3. Orders and Payment

An order is validated once payment is confirmed. A summary will be sent to you by email. In the case of split deliveries, only the shipped items are debited. The credit/debit card is only charged at the time of shipment.

Payment is made by credit/debit card via the secure Shopify Payments system, or via PayPal. Banking data is never stored on our servers.

4. Processing Times by Product Type

Our products fall into three categories, each with distinct processing times:

In-Stock Products These products are available immediately. Orders are prepared and shipped within 1 to 2 business days following payment validation.

Made-to-Order Products Without Printing (e.g., full protection kits) These products do not require a printing, application, or degassing phase. They are prepared and shipped within 1 to 3 business days following order validation.

Custom-Printed Products (e.g., custom graphics kits) These products undergo a full production phase: printing, cutting, and degassing. The processing time is 3 to 10 business days depending on when the order is placed.

Our standard production cycle is as follows: printing closes on Wednesday evenings, with cutting and shipping taking place the following Tuesday. Therefore, an order placed just after the Wednesday cutoff will wait for the next cycle.

These timeframes may be extended during periods of high demand. You will be notified by email in the event of an exceptional delay.

5. Delivery

Metropolitan France Delivery in metropolitan France is carried out either via pickup point delivery (3 to 5 days) or Express delivery (24 to 48 hours) after shipment. Free shipping is offered for orders over €150.

International Delivery We ship worldwide. Delivery times and rates vary depending on the destination. An estimate is displayed during the checkout process.

  • European Union: 2 to 5 business days
  • Rest of the world: 5 to 15 business days (varying by country and carrier)

Customs Duties and Import Taxes For any order delivered outside of metropolitan France, you are considered the importer. Customs duties, local taxes, or import fees may be payable upon delivery. These fees are your responsibility and are your sole liability. We have no control over these amounts.

Order Tracking A shipping confirmation email including your tracking number will be sent to you as soon as your package is dispatched. Please remember to check your spam folder.

Shipping Delays In the event of a delay, an email will be sent to inform you. QUIVER SAS undertakes to deliver within a maximum period of 20 days following the order. Beyond this timeframe, you may request the cancellation of the order and a full refund.

6. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

Legal Withdrawal Period In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, you have 14 days from the receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to provide any reason or pay any penalties.

Return Eligibility Conditions To be accepted, any returned item must:

  • be in its original condition, unused and undamaged;
  • not have been peeled off its backing (for protection kits);
  • be in its complete original packaging (including accessories and instructions);
  • be accompanied by the original invoice included in the parcel.

Any returned item that does not meet these criteria will be refused and will not be eligible for a refund.

Consumer Liability for Depreciation You're welcome to open the packaging and handle the product as you would in a store, to check its fit, colors, and finish. However, in accordance with Article L.221-23 of the French Consumer Code, you remain liable for any depreciation of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and proper functioning of the product.

This means installing the product on a bike and then removing it, cutting it, or otherwise causing damage that makes it unusable goes beyond simple inspection. If a returned item comes back to us damaged or devalued as a result, we reserve the right to deduct a compensation fee from your refund corresponding to the depreciation observed, or to decline the refund entirely if the product is completely unusable.

Custom / Made-to-Order Products Our protection kits are made to order according to the specifications chosen by the buyer. Under Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, these products are exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal once production has started.

Production is considered to have started upon receipt of the email "Your Slicy order is in production". Beyond this point, no returns are accepted for ordering errors, except in the case of a proven defect.

Return Shipping Costs Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Please use a tracked delivery service. Slicy is not responsible for any loss or damage occurring during the return shipment.

Refund Upon receipt and inspection of the return, the refund will be processed within 14 days via the same payment method used at the time of purchase. Initial shipping costs are not refunded, except in the case of a defective or non-conforming product.

Reconditioning Fee – Full Kits Full kits (complete frame protection) are products made up of many precisely cut and rolled pieces. All full kit returns are subject to a systematic inspection upon receipt. If the kit shows signs of damage due to improper handling (creased film, poorly rolled, stuck then peeled off, moisture marks, etc.), a flat fee of €25 will be deducted from the refunded amount to cover inspection, reconditioning, or disposal costs.

This fee applies regardless of the reason for return and will be deducted from the refund at the time of processing. You will be notified by email.

How to Initiate a Return? Send an email to contact@slicy-products.com with:

  • your order number;
  • the reason for the return;
  • photos if the product is defective.

Our team will provide you with the procedure to follow within 2 business days.

7. Statutory Warranties

All our products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L.217-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code). In the event of a defect, please contact us by email at contact@slicy-products.com within 30 days of receipt.

8. Liability

Slicy products are protections subject to normal wear and tear through use. QUIVER SAS cannot be held liable for damage resulting from improper use, incorrect installation, or use that does not comply with the instructions provided.

Application and Removal of Protection Kits – Condition of Paintwork The quality of paint and frame finishes varies significantly depending on bicycle manufacturers, production years, storage conditions, and the general condition of the frame. QUIVER SAS can in no way be held liable for any damage caused to the original paint, varnish, or decals during the application or removal of a protection kit, regardless of the cause: fragile, old, chipped, or poorly factory-applied paint, or a frame that has suffered prior impacts.

It is strongly recommended to strictly follow the application and removal instructions provided with each kit, particularly the use of a heat gun or hairdryer to soften the adhesive before removal. Any removal carried out without care and without heat is performed under the sole responsibility of the user.

If you have any doubts regarding the condition of your frame's paintwork, we advise you to have the kit applied or removed by a professional.

9. Applicable Law, Disputes and Mediation
